Mouni amavasya bath donation importance

It is very auspicious to donate bath on Mauni Amavasya. On this day, cow, black sesame, salt, gold, silver, desi ghee etc. should be donated. It is believed that by donating a cow on this day, the ancestors get salvation, donating black sesame removes the obstruction of the planets, donating salt provides relief from problems. Donating gold provides rid of diseases and liberation from debt. On this day, donating desi ghee brings happiness and prosperity in the family.
